Description

This ceramic teapot takes the form of a plump, ribbed pumpkin, with a little squirrel perched on the lid as its knob. The body is glazed in cream and scattered with fine brown speckles, and the pumpkin theme carries through to every part: the handle curves like a woody stem in warm brown, and the spout is moulded like a curled leaf. The squirrel is sculpted in careful detail, sitting up with its paws tucked to its chest and a bushy, ridged tail curled behind it. Made from dolomite ceramic, it holds 940ml, a generous pot for sharing, and measures 13cm deep.
