Description

The Pulcra is a slim cylindrical flush ceiling light with a 6cm diameter tube finished in matt white, fixed directly to the ceiling without a visible canopy. A single GU10 lamp sits at the open lower end of the tube, projecting a focused downward beam. The fitting is available in four lengths, allowing the same minimal cylinder to be specified as a short ceiling spot or as a longer pendant-style drop.

The Pulcra suits low and standard ceilings where a hanging pendant would crowd the room, including bedrooms, hallways, home offices, bathrooms (subject to zone and IP requirements) and kitchens with ceilings under 2.4m. Used singly the tube acts as task or accent lighting over a worktop, console or bedside; grouped in twos, threes or fours at staggered lengths, the same fitting reads as an architectural composition over a dining table, kitchen island or stairwell.

The body is metal with a smooth matt white powder-coated finish that diffuses reflections and blends with painted plasterboard ceilings. The 6cm diameter is narrow enough to read as a line rather than a fixture, and the open-ended tube gives a tighter beam spread than a typical downlight, making it useful for highlighting artwork, shelving or a specific surface below. The GU10 socket accepts standard mains-voltage GU10 lamps (sold separately), letting the beam angle and colour temperature be chosen at install.
