Description

The Provence is a 590mm tall stick table lamp with a conical metal shade finished in old bronze, mounted on a cylindrical column and weighted circular base. The lamp takes a single E14 bulb (supplied with a 4W LED) and directs light downward through the open bottom of the shade, providing focused task light or soft ambient illumination depending on bulb choice.

Designed for side tables, desks, bedside tables and console surfaces, the Provence suits both traditional and transitional interiors where a compact footprint is needed. The 210mm diameter base provides stability on narrow surfaces without overhanging, and the downward-directed light makes the lamp practical for reading positions next to an armchair or as a bedside lamp where light needs to reach a book or tablet without spilling into the wider room.

The old bronze finish combines steel construction with a brass detail ring visible at the junction between shade and column. This gives the lamp a two-tone appearance when lit, with the warmer brass accent catching the bulb light while the darker bronze shade absorbs reflections. The conical shade geometry tapers from approximately 300mm diameter at the rim to a narrower neck, concentrating the light throw without creating hard edges on nearby surfaces.
