Description

The Provence is a 590mm stick lamp in aged brass with a conical metal shade over a single E14 fitting on a slender central column. The lamp includes one 4W LED E14 bulb and directs light downwards through the open base of the cone, creating focused pool lighting rather than ambient room fill.

Designed as buffet or accent lighting for side tables, console tables, desks and bedside use, the Provence suits spaces where a full table lamp footprint would overpower the surface. The 210mm diameter base and slim profile allow the lamp to sit on narrow shelves, mantelpieces or corner positions without tipping. The downlight configuration works particularly well for reading nooks, hallway console tables and kitchen counters where task light is needed close to the surface.

The aged brass finish on the steel and brass construction shows tonal variation and a muted patina rather than bright polished brass, giving the lamp a settled appearance that pairs with both traditional oak furniture and darker mid-century pieces. The cone shade measures approximately 210mm across its widest point and tapers to a narrow throat above the bulb, concentrating the light beam downwards while hiding the bulb from direct view when the lamp is positioned below eye level.

Yes. The Provence includes one 4W LED E14 bulb. Replacement bulbs are available separately should you want a different colour temperature or brightness.

Is it dimmable?

The included 4W LED bulb is not typically dimmable. If dimming is required, you will need to replace it with a dimmable E14 LED bulb (sold separately) and use a compatible LED dimmer.

What surfaces is it stable on?

The 210mm circular base provides stability on flat surfaces including wooden side tables, glass console tables and laminate desks. On very narrow shelves under 210mm deep, the lamp may overhang slightly but remains stable due to its low centre of gravity.

Can the shade angle be adjusted?

No. The cone shade is fixed in position and directs light straight downwards. The lamp cannot be tilted or angled.
