Description

The Pro Focus Thin is a 40cm cylindrical pendant light finished in brass-tone aluminium, suspended on a black cable from a 10cm brass ceiling rose. The narrow 6cm diameter tube houses a single downward-facing GU10 fitting (bulb sold separately), directing focused light onto worksurfaces, dining tables or bar counters below. The 340cm maximum drop allows the pendant to be shortened on installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and higher open-plan spaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining table runs and entrance halls, the Pro Focus works as a single pendant over smaller round tables or in multiples spaced 50-70cm apart along longer surfaces. The narrow profile prevents the fitting from blocking sightlines across a kitchen or dining area while the brass finish provides visual warmth against white, grey or timber cabinetry. The GU10 lamp holder accepts standard mains-voltage LED, halogen or energy-saving bulbs.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight to approximately 0.5kg per pendant, making it suitable for standard ceiling roses and easy to handle during installation. The brass finish is a mid-tone gold that sits between polished brass and antique brass, avoiding high reflectivity while maintaining metallic warmth. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations — the fitting is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or damp environments.

The Pro Focus uses a GU10 bulb (mains voltage, twist-and-lock fitting) up to 6W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED GU10 between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or task lighting over worksurfaces.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 340cm cable can be shortened during installation to suit your ceiling height and the distance required above the surface below. Once shortened and the excess cable is concealed, the drop is fixed.

How many pendants are needed over a kitchen island?

For a 1.8-2.4m island, two or three Pro Focus pendants spaced 50-70cm apart typically provide balanced coverage without crowding the visual space. Single pendants work over small round dining tables up to 90cm diameter.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb you install. Use a dimmable GU10 LED with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch to achieve dimming functionality.
