Description

The Pristina V2 is a 15W LED track spotlight designed for three-phase track systems, with a black powder-coated cylindrical body measuring 180mm in height and 66mm in diameter. The integrated LED produces 4000K neutral white light at CRI80, suited to commercial environments where colour accuracy matters but doesn't need to be critical. The head rotates 350° on the track mount and tilts 90°, allowing the beam to be directed across a wide arc without repositioning the track itself.

Built for retail displays, gallery walls, hospitality corridors and home track lighting installations where fixtures need to be repositioned as layouts change. The three-phase track adapter clips into Ideal Lux three-phase track and can be moved along the track length without rewiring — power is drawn from the live track rail. The 350° rotation and 90° tilt are adjusted by hand and stay in position once set, so displays can be relit without tools.

The body is precision-machined aluminium with a powder-coated black finish that resists scuffs in high-traffic installations. The cylindrical profile measures 66mm across at the widest point, so multiple Pristina V2 fittings can be mounted close together on the same track run without the heads overlapping. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight, giving neutral illumination that works in both contemporary commercial settings and residential spaces where cool whites would feel clinical.

The IP20 rating limits the Pristina V2 to dry indoor installations — it's not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use. The non-dimmable driver means the light operates at full 15W output when switched on; dimming would require replacing the entire track system with a dimmable three-phase track and compatible driver.

Three-phase track has three separate live circuits running along the same rail, allowing different groups of lights to be controlled independently. The Pristina V2 is designed for Ideal Lux three-phase track systems and will not fit standard single-circuit track. The adapter is specific to the three-phase rail profile.

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable. Attempting to dim the Pristina V2 on a dimmer circuit would likely cause flicker or damage the driver. If dimming is required, you would need a different track spotlight model with a dimmable driver.

What is CRI80 and does it suit retail use?

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source shows colours compared to natural daylight. CRI80 is acceptable for general retail and hospitality but not ideal for fashion retail, art galleries or food displays where colour accuracy is critical — those typically need CRI90 or higher.

How is the spotlight positioned on the track?

The Pristina V2 clips into the three-phase track rail and can be slid along the track to any position without tools. Once in place, the head rotates 350° and tilts 90° by hand. The adjustments hold position through friction — no locking mechanism is needed.
