Description

The Prea is a single-arm LED wall light with an integrated 3W 3000K LED housed inside a cylindrical matt black head that pivots on a circular backplate. A small inline switch on the backplate allows the light to be turned on and off without reaching for a separate wall switch, making it suitable for bedside reading positions and hallway task lighting.

Designed for installation above beds, alongside armchairs, or in corridors where directed light is needed, the Prea projects 85mm from the wall and the head can be angled to direct the 30° beam onto a book, pillow area, or specific wall section. The 210 lumen output is sufficient for reading without overpowering a bedroom or sitting room with general ambient light. The compact 80mm width and 110mm height keep the fitting unobtrusive on typical residential walls.

The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, making the Prea less visually prominent during the day when not in use. The cylindrical head and circular backplate create a simple geometric profile that pairs with both industrial and contemporary interiors. The integrated LED removes the need to source or replace bulbs, and the 100-240V input voltage allows the fitting to be used internationally without transformers.

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 3W output on 100-240V mains. The inline switch on the backplate is on/off only and does not support dimming.

Can the head be adjusted?

Yes. The cylindrical head pivots on the joint where it meets the backplate, allowing the 30° beam to be angled towards a reading position, a pillow area, or a specific section of wall.

What installation height works best for bedside reading?

Most users install the Prea 1200-1400mm above floor level when positioning it beside a bed, which places the light source slightly above typical pillow height when sitting up. The 85mm projection keeps the head clear of headboards and picture frames.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering the LED module and driver.
