Description

The Pop is a wall light built from a continuous curved arm of gloss red polymer, mounted on a polished chrome circular backplate with an opal glass diffuser at the centre. The arm sweeps upward from the backplate in a flowing S-curve that projects 160mm from the wall and rises to 550mm total height. An integrated rocker switch on the chrome backplate controls the single E27 bulb fitting (bulb included, 11W 2700K LED).

Designed for accent wall positions in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and hotel corridors, the Pop functions as both a light source and a sculptural object. The opal diffuser casts soft ambient light across the wall behind the fitting while the gloss red arm adds a graphic vertical element. The integrated switch removes the need for separate dimmer or wall switch control, making the fitting practical for positions where running switched-live cable is difficult.

The polymer arm is finished in a high-gloss automotive-grade lacquer that resists yellowing and maintains colour depth under UV exposure. The finish is applied in multiple coats over a polymer substrate, which keeps the arm lightweight (1kg total fitting weight) while providing the rigidity needed to support the cantilevered projection. The chrome backplate is 100mm diameter and hides the wall fixing behind the diffuser, so no screws are visible on the finished installation.

The 160mm projection means the fitting clears most skirting boards and dado rails when mounted at waist-to-shoulder height. The warm 2700K colour temperature pairs with the red finish to produce a warm-toned ambient glow rather than a clinical white light. The E27 fitting accepts standard Edison screw bulbs, so the included LED can be replaced with dimmable alternatives where paired with a compatible in-line dimmer module.

Is the bulb included?

Yes. The Pop ships with an 11W E27 LED bulb rated at 2700K warm white. The bulb is replaceable with any standard E27 fitting up to the maximum wattage supported by the lamp holder.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, if paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible in-line dimmer module installed in the circuit. The integrated switch on the backplate is an on/off rocker switch, not a dimmer, so dimming requires external control.

What wall fixing is needed?

The 100mm chrome backplate mounts to the wall with two screws. On solid walls use appropriate wall plugs; on plasterboard use cavity fixings rated for 1.5kg or above. The electrical connection is made behind the backplate before the diffuser clips into place.

Does the red finish fade over time?

The automotive-grade lacquer is UV-stabilised to resist yellowing and colour shift under normal indoor light exposure. Avoid mounting the fitting in direct sunlight for extended periods, as prolonged UV exposure can degrade any coloured finish over multiple years.
