Polyedric Chrome Stainless Steel Wall Art - 100cm

The Polyedric is a 100cm diameter wall art piece formed from chrome-plated stainless steel, shaped into a three-dimensional grid of irregular faceted polygons. The surface consists of hundreds of angled planes that catch and reflect light at different intensities depending on viewing angle and time of day, creating a shifting pattern of bright reflections and darker recesses across the circular form.

Designed for large wall expanses in entrance halls, above console tables, and in double-height living spaces with ceiling heights above 2.7m, the Polyedric works as a single statement piece rather than part of a grouping. The 10cm relief depth projects from the wall plane, casting shadows that vary with natural and artificial light throughout the day. At 11.4kg the piece requires secure wall fixings into masonry or stud positions.

The chrome plating gives a mirror-bright finish across the faceted surface, amplifying available light in darker entrance halls and reflecting colour from surrounding furnishings. The geometric patterning pairs with mid-century, contemporary and industrial interior schemes where metallic accents and hard-edged geometry are present elsewhere in the space. The stainless steel substrate resists corrosion and maintains its surface finish without polishing in typical interior environments.

Product Specification Sheet

How is the Polyedric mounted to the wall?

The piece has a concealed hanging system on the rear. At 11.4kg it requires secure fixings into masonry or timber studs — standard plasterboard plugs will not support the weight safely. Professional installation is recommended.

What wall space does it need?

At 100cm diameter plus the 10cm projection, allow at least 120cm of clear wall width and similar vertical clearance. The piece works best on walls above 2.5m wide to avoid appearing cramped.

Does the chrome finish require maintenance?

The chrome-plated stainless steel resists tarnishing and corrosion in typical interior conditions. Fingerprints and dust can be removed with a soft microfibre cloth. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is sufficient — avoid chemical cleaners or abrasive materials that can scratch the reflective surface.

Will it work in a bathroom or kitchen?

The stainless steel substrate tolerates moisture better than untreated steel, but the chrome plating can be affected by prolonged exposure to steam and water splashes. The Polyedric is intended for dry interior environments — living rooms, hallways, bedrooms — rather than high-humidity zones.
