Description

The Polverara is a two light bar pendant: a long black steel ceiling bar with two cylinders of amber glass hanging from slim black cords. It is 75cm long, 18cm wide and 150cm high overall, so it runs comfortably along the length of a dining table or kitchen island. Each shade is vaporised glass in a warm amber, and each takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W; bulbs are not included. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, in living spaces rather than bathrooms or porches.

Two shades on one bar spread light along a longer surface than a single pendant can manage, which is why bar pendants work so well over dining tables, breakfast bars and kitchen islands. The amber glass tints the light a soft honey colour, so a room feels warmer and more relaxed in the evening, and the black steel keeps the outline crisp against pale or dark walls.
