Description
The Polaris is a 120x120cm photographic print on tempered glass showing an abstract composition of overlapping leaf forms arranged in a spiral pattern. The monochrome image captures organic shapes in pale grey and blue-grey tones, with each leaf form appearing translucent and layered over the others to create depth and visual texture. The print is produced directly onto 4mm tempered glass, giving the image a smooth, reflective surface that catches ambient light.
Designed as wall art for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and office reception areas with sufficient wall space, the Polaris suits both residential and commercial interiors. The 120cm square format works on walls 2.4m or wider, where it can sit centrally above a sofa or sideboard without appearing cramped. The integrated ironwork hanging system mounts directly to the reverse of the glass panel and hooks onto standard wall fixings, with the 14.4kg weight requiring secure fixing into masonry or studwork rather than plasterboard alone.
The spiral arrangement of leaf forms gives the composition a sense of movement radiating from the centre outward, while the monochrome palette prevents the piece from dominating a room's colour scheme. The tempered glass surface resists scratches and can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner, making it more practical than framed photographic prints in high-traffic areas. The print pairs well with concrete, exposed brick, natural wood and neutral-toned interiors where the grey-blue palette complements rather than clashes with existing finishes.

Frequently Asked
How is the print mounted to the wall?
The Polaris includes integrated ironwork fixings mounted to the reverse of the glass panel. These hook onto standard wall fixings. Due to the 14.4kg weight, the fixings must be screwed into masonry, brick or timber studwork rather than plasterboard alone.
Can the glass be cleaned?
Yes. The tempered glass surface can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the printed surface.
What wall size does it suit?
The 120cm square format works best on walls 2.4m or wider, where the piece can sit centrally without appearing cramped. In smaller spaces the print may dominate the wall and make the room feel smaller.
Is the image an actual photograph or computer-generated?
The Polaris is a photographic composition. The leaf forms appear to be photographed organic material arranged and layered to create the spiral pattern, rather than a computer-generated graphic.
