The Maytoni Points Rot is a 221mm linear track light housing twelve adjustable LED emitters inside a black aluminium body, running on DC 48V via the Magnetic Exility track system. The integrated 12W LED module provides adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white through to 6000K cool white, controlled via DALI protocol for precise dimming and temperature shifts without needing to change bulbs.

Designed for retail displays, gallery accent lighting, office task zones and residential feature walls, the Points Rot clips magnetically onto Maytoni Exility tracks without tools or external wiring. Each of the twelve emitters sits in a recessed gold-toned reflector cone that rotates independently within the housing, allowing individual spots to be angled across different surfaces or grouped to wash a single feature. The DALI control supports integration with building management systems and smart lighting controllers that can schedule colour temperature changes throughout the day.

The black powder-coated aluminium body measures 221mm long by 23mm wide with a 107mm vertical projection from the track, making it compact enough for low-ceiling retail or hospitality spaces while still providing a visible line of light when viewed from the side. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments. The high CRI LED module renders colours and textures accurately, which matters when lighting artwork, product displays or interior finishes where colour fidelity is critical.

The Points Rot is one piece in the wider Maytoni Exility magnetic track ecosystem, which includes straight tracks, corner connectors, pendant adaptors and other track-mounted fittings that share the same DC 48V magnetic attachment system. What is DALI and do I need special wiring?

DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a control protocol that allows precise dimming and colour temperature adjustment via compatible controllers or building management systems. The Points Rot requires a DALI-compatible power supply and controller connected to the Magnetic Exility track — standard domestic dimmers will not work.

Can the colour temperature be changed manually or does it require automation?

Colour temperature adjustment requires a DALI controller. This can be a wall-mounted panel, a wireless remote, or integrated into a smart lighting system. The fixture does not have onboard buttons or switches for manual adjustment.

Are the individual LED emitters adjustable?

Yes. Each of the twelve emitters sits in a rotatable reflector cone, allowing individual spots to be angled independently to highlight different areas or surfaces along the track.

What track system does this fit?

The Points Rot is designed exclusively for the Maytoni Magnetic Exility track system, which runs on DC 48V and uses magnetic attachment rather than traditional track clips. It will not fit standard three-circuit mains track systems.
