Description

The Points is a 327mm linear track light with an integrated 18W LED module, a white aluminium body, and a recessed light source that produces a focused 36° beam. The fitting clips directly into Maytoni's magnetic track system (sold separately) and runs on DC 48V low-voltage power supplied by the track. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light.

Designed for accent lighting in residential and commercial installations, the Points works in kitchens for worktop task lighting, in retail for product highlighting, in galleries for wall-mounted art, and in offices for directed workstation illumination. The magnetic track system allows the fitting to be repositioned along the track without tools, so lighting can be adjusted as room layout changes. The recessed LED source sits behind the aluminium aperture, reducing direct glare when the fitting is viewed from below.

The 327mm length fits single-section installations or can be combined with multiple Points fittings on the same track to build continuous runs of directed light. The white aluminium finish pairs with white or light-toned ceilings to minimise visual contrast. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor use — it is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs, or outdoor canopies.

Does this include the magnetic track?

No. The Points fitting clips into Maytoni's magnetic track system, which is sold separately. You will need to purchase the track, power supply and any connectors required for your installation alongside this fitting.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 18W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000-50,000 hours of use depending on operating conditions. If the LED fails within the warranty period, the entire fitting is covered under Maytoni's 5-year guarantee.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

The beam is fixed at 36°, which produces a focused pool of light approximately 1-1.5m in diameter when aimed at a surface 2-3m below the fitting. The fitting itself can be rotated and tilted on the magnetic track to redirect the beam.

What voltage does it require?

The fitting operates on DC 48V, which is supplied by the magnetic track system. The track connects to a mains-to-48V DC power supply (included with Maytoni track kits). You do not wire this fitting directly to 230V mains.
