Description

The Points is a 116mm linear LED track light designed for magnetic track systems, with a white powder-coated aluminium body housing a recessed 6W LED module. The fitting delivers 3000K warm white light through a 36° beam angle, concentrating output to accent walls, retail displays or architectural features without spilling light across adjacent surfaces.

Designed for magnetic track systems running on DC 48V, the Points attaches to the track via an integrated magnetic mount, allowing the fitting to be repositioned along the track run without tools or re-wiring. The recessed LED sits behind the aperture rim, reducing direct glare and directing light forward rather than into the viewer's sightline. This configuration suits galleries, retail interiors, hospitality spaces and residential rooms where accent or task lighting is needed on surfaces 1-3m from the track.

The aluminium body measures 116mm long, 26mm wide and 28mm high, giving the fitting a low-profile presence on the track. The white finish matches most ceiling tones and blends into light-coloured track systems. The IP20 rating limits the Points to interior dry locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or other damp environments. The LED is integrated and non-replaceable, with a rated lifespan typical of commercial-grade LED modules.

Maytoni manufactures the Points as part of their Radity magnetic track lighting range, which includes various fittings, track lengths and power supplies sold separately. The magnetic attachment method means individual fittings can be added, removed or repositioned as room layouts change, without replacing the track itself.

The Points is designed for Maytoni's Radity magnetic track system, which runs on DC 48V. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks without checking voltage and connector compatibility first.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The 6W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for a commercial-grade lifespan, typically 30,000-50,000 hours depending on operating conditions.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the power supply and control system used with the Radity magnetic track. The fitting itself supports dimming when paired with a compatible dimmable driver — consult the track system documentation or contact us for confirmation.
