Description

The Points is a 220mm linear LED track light designed for magnetic track systems, with an integrated 12W LED running at 3000K warm white and a white powder-coated aluminium body. The light mounts magnetically onto compatible 48V DC tracks, allowing tool-free positioning and adjustment along the track run. The 36° beam angle directs light downward in a focused cone, suited to accent lighting over counters, displays, or architectural details.

Designed for residential kitchens, commercial retail spaces, galleries and hospitality areas where directed accent lighting is needed without fixed ceiling fittings, the Points track light can be repositioned at any point along the magnetic track to adapt to changing room layouts or display configurations. The recessed LED sits behind the front aperture plane, reducing direct glare when viewed from the side. The magnetic mount carries both power and mechanical fixing, so the light can be removed or relocated without rewiring.

The white aluminium body measures 222mm long by 26mm wide and projects 29mm from the track surface once mounted. The powder-coated finish provides a neutral backdrop that blends with white ceilings and contemporary interiors. The 48V DC voltage requirement means the light must be paired with a compatible magnetic track system and a mains-to-48V DC driver (sold separately). The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

What track system does this fit?

The Points is designed for magnetic track systems running on 48V DC. It will not fit standard 3-circuit mains-voltage track rails. Check that your track system is magnetically compatible and operates on 48V DC before ordering.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 12W LED is integrated into the aluminium body and cannot be replaced separately. The LED is rated for approximately 50,000 hours under normal operating conditions, which equates to around 17 years of use at 8 hours per day.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

The 36° beam angle is fixed by the internal LED and optic design. The light head can be tilted and rotated on the magnetic mount to direct the beam, but the cone width itself remains at 36°.

What driver is needed?

A mains-to-48V DC driver is required to power the magnetic track system. The driver is not included with the track light and must be selected based on the total wattage of all track lights on the circuit.
