Description

The Points is a 222mm linear track light housing an integrated 12W LED within a black aluminium extrusion, designed for installation on magnetic track systems. Twelve recessed LED apertures run along the underside of the linear body, each emitting a 36° beam at 3000K warm white, creating defined pools of accent light across surfaces below.

Designed for retail environments, galleries, kitchen worktops and residential rooms needing directional accent lighting, the Points mounts via a magnetic connector that clips onto compatible 48V DC magnetic tracks without tools or wiring work. The linear body can be rotated within the magnetic mount to aim the light pools where needed. The recessed LED positioning keeps the light source back from the aperture plane, reducing direct glare when the fitting is viewed from typical standing or seated positions.

The 222mm length makes the Points suitable for illuminating specific zones rather than washing entire walls, pairing well with artwork, display shelving or worktop task areas needing 600-800 lux at surface level. The black powder-coated aluminium finish on the body absorbs ambient light and keeps the fitting visually discreet against dark ceilings or within black track runs. The 48V DC operation requires a compatible magnetic track system with integrated driver.

What track system does this fit?

The Points is designed for magnetic track systems running on 48V DC. It will not fit standard 240V mains track rails. The magnetic mount allows the fitting to be clipped onto compatible tracks without wiring, and repositioned along the track length as needed.

Is the LED dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the magnetic track system and its integrated driver. The Points itself does not contain dimming electronics. If the track system supports dimming via a compatible driver, the Points will dim accordingly.

What is the beam angle?

The integrated LED emits a 36° beam from each of the twelve apertures, creating defined accent pools rather than wide wash light. This beam angle suits highlighting specific objects or surfaces rather than general ambient lighting.

Can it be rotated once fitted?

Yes. The linear body rotates within the magnetic mount, allowing the direction of the light pools to be adjusted after installation. The mount itself can also be slid along the magnetic track to reposition the fitting without tools.
