Point-1 Outdoor Wall Single Spotlight - Black IP66

The Point-1 is a single-head outdoor wall spotlight with a black resin housing and an adjustable directional head, taking a GX53 bulb (sold separately). The IP66 rating provides full protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for exposed exterior walls, garden lighting and pathway illumination in all UK weather conditions. The resin construction resists corrosion from atmospheric salt, chemical fertilisers and temperature extremes between -60°C and +90°C.

Designed for residential garden lighting, architectural accent lighting on facades, and illuminating driveways or entrance paths, the spotlight mounts to brick, rendered or timber-clad walls using the 120mm projection arm. The directional head rotates and tilts on a brass-bushed pivot, allowing light to be aimed at specific features such as trees, raised beds, signage or doorways. The 150mm head diameter and compact projection keep the fitting unobtrusive on the wall when not the primary visual focus.

The black resin finish provides a matt, non-reflective surface that blends into dark-painted walls, black render or timber cladding. Unlike aluminium or steel equivalents, the resin housing will not corrode in coastal environments or where fertilisers and weed treatments are used near the fitting. The GX53 lampholder accepts compact LED retrofit bulbs, typically 7-11W with outputs of 600-900 lumens, giving sufficient throw for accent lighting without overlighting smaller garden areas.

What bulb does it take and is one included?

The Point-1 takes a GX53 bulb, which is a compact twist-and-lock fitting common in recessed and wall-mounted outdoor fittings. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 7-11W GX53 LED bulb rated for outdoor use, typically 3000K warm white.

Can it be used in coastal or high-chemical environments?

Yes. The resin housing is resistant to corrosion from atmospheric salt and chemical fertilisers, making it suitable for coastal properties and gardens where weed treatments or lawn feeds are regularly applied. The IP66 rating also protects the internal components from driving rain and spray.

Is the head adjustable after installation?

Yes. The directional head rotates and tilts on a pivot, allowing you to aim the light at specific features after the spotlight is fixed to the wall. This makes it useful for accent lighting trees, raised beds or architectural details where the light needs precise positioning.
