Description

The Point-1 is a single-head outdoor wall spotlight with a black resin housing and an adjustable directional head, taking a GX53 bulb (sold separately). The IP66 rating provides full protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for exposed exterior walls, garden lighting and pathway illumination in all UK weather conditions. The resin construction resists corrosion from atmospheric salt, chemical fertilisers and temperature extremes between -60°C and +90°C.

Designed for residential garden lighting, architectural accent lighting on facades, and illuminating driveways or entrance paths, the spotlight mounts to brick, rendered or timber-clad walls using the 120mm projection arm. The directional head rotates and tilts on a brass-bushed pivot, allowing light to be aimed at specific features such as trees, raised beds, signage or doorways. The 150mm head diameter and compact projection keep the fitting unobtrusive on the wall when not the primary visual focus.

The black resin finish provides a matt, non-reflective surface that blends into dark-painted walls, black render or timber cladding. Unlike aluminium or steel equivalents, the resin housing will not corrode in coastal environments or where fertilisers and weed treatments are used near the fitting. The GX53 lampholder accepts compact LED retrofit bulbs, typically 7-11W with outputs of 600-900 lumens, giving sufficient throw for accent lighting without overlighting smaller garden areas.
