Description

The Plantation is a 406mm flush-mount ceiling light with a bowl of diagonal-cut optic crystal glass held in a pearl bronze frame with decorative leaf and bead detailing around the rim. Three E27 bulb fittings inside the bowl (bulbs sold separately) light the crystal, which refracts the light into soft prisms across the ceiling and walls. The bronze finish is a warm mid-tone with a pearl sheen rather than a dark oil-rubbed patina.

Designed for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights (2.4-2.7m) where a pendant would hang too low, the Plantation works in entrance halls, bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms where you need general ambient light without losing headroom. The 222mm fitting height projects only slightly from the ceiling, making it practical for circulation spaces and rooms where taller occupants might otherwise brush a hanging pendant. The 406mm diameter provides enough presence to anchor a 4-5m room without dominating smaller spaces.

The optic crystal bowl is cut with a diagonal hatch pattern that catches and bends the light from the three bulbs, giving more visual interest than plain frosted glass. The bronze frame features cast leaf motifs and a beaded edge detail around both the top rim and the lower finial, adding decorative weight to what could otherwise be a plain flush fitting.
