Description

The Pietra is a linear chandelier with six G9 bulb fittings arranged across two curved arms that extend from a central polished chrome spine. Each arm carries three frosted and clear glass shades shaped like tulip heads, with the glass layered to soften the bulb glare while allowing light through. The polished chrome frame provides a high-reflectivity finish that catches both daylight and artificial light.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and long console tables in hallways, the 1020mm length suits surfaces between 1600-2200mm long. The two-arm asymmetric layout spreads light coverage evenly along the length of the fitting without creating hotspots. The 500mm drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the shades works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, typically hanging 700-800mm above the table surface.

Each of the six G9 sockets accepts bulbs up to 40W (240W total), and the fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs when paired with an appropriate dimmer switch. The frosted glass layer on each shade diffuses direct glare from the bulb, while the clear outer glass retains definition and allows the flower-petal form to remain visible when the light is off. The polished chrome arms and central rod are solid metal construction, giving the 1.7kg fitting enough weight to hang securely without appearing flimsy.

Because dimming depends on the lamps, fit dimmable G9 bulbs and a matched dimmer to adjust the level. Combined draw across the six sockets reaches 240W at full load, though LED lamps sit far below this. The 1 year warranty covers the fitting.

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Both LED and halogen G9 bulbs are available in dimmable versions, though LED bulbs require LED-rated dimmers.

What table length does the 1020mm span suit?

The 1020mm linear spread works well over tables between 1600-2200mm long. For shorter tables under 1400mm, the fitting may appear oversized. For tables over 2400mm, two separate pendant lights may provide better coverage.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

The 500mm drop is fixed from the ceiling rose to the lowest point of the glass shades. If a shorter drop is needed, the suspension rod can be cut down during installation by a qualified electrician, though this may affect the warranty.
