Description

The Pietra is a 2-light table lamp with two frosted glass tulip-shaped shades held on curved polished chrome stems that rise from a curved chrome base. Each shade houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately), with a combined maximum load of 80W across both sockets. The frosted glass diffuses the light evenly, softening the bulb glow without blocking the light output entirely.

Designed for side tables, bedside surfaces, console tables in hallways and occasional tables in living rooms, the Pietra provides task and ambient light in a compact 170mm-wide footprint. The 440mm height positions the light heads at a useful elevation for reading or general room illumination without overwhelming smaller surfaces. The lamp is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer on the circuit, allowing output to be adjusted between full brightness and low background lighting.

The polished chrome finish on the stems and base reflects surrounding light and pairs with cooler colour schemes, contemporary interiors and grey-toned palettes. The curved stems give the lamp a sculptural presence that works as a decorative object when switched off. The frosted glass shades have an organic tulip-like form with gently flared petals, softening the geometric precision of the chrome metalwork. At 1.7kg the lamp has sufficient weight to remain stable on most surfaces without needing to be secured.

Is the Pietra dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The lamp itself supports dimming but requires both components to function. Non-dimmable G9 bulbs will operate at full brightness only.

The curved chrome base measures 170mm across at its widest point, requiring a surface width of approximately 200mm to allow clearance around the lamp. The compact footprint suits most bedside tables, side tables and narrow console surfaces.

Can the shades be replaced if damaged?

The frosted glass tulip shades are designed as part of the Pietra assembly. Replacement shades are not typically stocked separately, but contact us if a shade is damaged and we can check availability with directly.
