Description

This Elstead picture light is a 360mm polished chrome tube housing two adjustable arms, each with a 2W halogen bulb (replaceable with G4 LED equivalents). The square backplate fixes to the wall above the frame, and the cylindrical body projects 200mm to direct light downwards onto artwork, mirrors or framed photography. The polished chrome finish reflects room light and pairs with both traditional gilt frames and modern frameless prints.

Designed for wall-mounting above frames between 600-900mm wide, the light is typically positioned 135mm above the top edge of the frame to avoid casting shadows across the upper portion of the image. The two adjustable arms allow the light angle to be set independently, compensating for uneven wall surfaces or frames that sit proud of the wall on chunky mounts. The fitting is mains-powered and requires wiring into a junction box or fused spur behind the backplate.

The polished chrome tube and backplate measure 360mm end-to-end, making the fitting substantial enough for larger frames without overwhelming smaller pieces in the 600-700mm range.
