Description

The Picture Light is a 360mm-wide wall-mounted fixture designed to illuminate larger artworks, photographs and mirrors. It houses two E14 candle bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately, max 40W each) behind a cylindrical dark bronze shade that directs light downward and outward onto the wall surface below. The fixture mounts to a square dark bronze backplate and projects 200mm from the wall, positioning the light source above and slightly forward of the frame.

Designed for residential galleries, living room feature walls, hallways and dining rooms where larger artworks or framed prints need directed illumination, the fixture suits frames up to approximately 900mm wide. The adjustable arm connecting the shade to the backplate allows the light to be angled to reduce glare on glass-fronted frames and to compensate for different frame thicknesses. The two-bulb configuration provides even coverage across the width of the artwork without dark spots at the edges.

The dark bronze finish is applied to solid metal components and shows visible brushing that softens reflections under daylight.
