Description

The Phostis is a dual-mount wall and ceiling light combining a white metal backplate with a spherical blown glass diffuser. The glass globe sits centred on a vertical metal arm that projects 120mm from the wall or ceiling surface, housing a single G9 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The white powder-coated finish on the metal components provides a clean, matte surface that contrasts with the gloss of the blown glass.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and bathrooms where dual-mount flexibility is needed, the Phostis can be installed vertically on a wall as a sconce or horizontally on a ceiling as a semi-flush fitting. The 333mm length of the backplate provides visual balance when mounted vertically, while the 120mm projection keeps the glass sphere clear of the wall surface. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The blown glass sphere diffuses light in all directions, casting soft ambient illumination without glare or hotspots. The white finish on the metal backplate and arm allows the fitting to blend into painted walls and ceilings in contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. Dimmable when paired with a compatible G9 LED bulb and appropriate dimmer switch. The glass diffuser is secured with visible screw fixings that pass through the backplate.

Is it dimmable?
