Description

The Phasia is a 650mm tall outdoor pedestal light built from powder-coated aluminium with a rectangular tempered glass diffuser running through the centre of a grey metal frame. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits behind the glass, casting light forward and to the sides through the transparent panel. The IP44 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for garden pathways, driveways, patios and terrace edges exposed to rain.

Designed for post-and-bollard style pathway lighting, the Phasia suits residential gardens, commercial landscaping, hotel entrances and restaurant terraces where low-level orientation light is needed without flooding the area. The 650mm height places the light source below typical eye level when standing, reducing glare while still providing enough visibility for safe navigation after dark. The matt grey finish recedes visually during daylight and pairs with both contemporary paving and traditional stone or gravel surfaces.

The aluminium body is powder-coated for corrosion resistance in coastal and high-humidity environments, and the tempered glass diffuser is impact-resistant enough to handle minor knocks from garden tools or passing feet. The fitting mounts onto a concrete base or paving via two fixing points at the bottom of the pedestal. The G9 lamp holder accepts halogen or LED capsule bulbs, and the fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible outdoor dimmer and dimmable bulb.

Can it be used in all-weather conditions?

Yes. The IP44 rating protects against dust and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for year-round outdoor installation in UK weather including rain, frost and snow. It is not submersible and should not be installed in areas prone to standing water or flooding.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a compatible outdoor dimmer switch and a dimmable G9 bulb. Not all G9 LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check bulb compatibility with your dimmer before purchasing.

How is it mounted?

The pedestal mounts via two fixing points at the base, typically onto a concrete pad, paving slab or decking surface. The cable entry point is at the bottom of the pedestal and requires a cable run from an outdoor junction box or buried conduit.
