The Phantom is a 50cm diameter glass pendant light with a sculptural outer shell in gloss black, a frosted white inner diffuser, and a polished chrome suspension frame. The outer glass is moulded into flowing, organic curves that resemble draped fabric or melted wax, with vertical ridges and cutout apertures allowing light to escape through the black shell. A single E27 bulb sits inside the frosted white inner diffuser, which softens the light before it passes through the black outer layer.

Designed for spaces with 2.7m or higher ceilings, the Phantom works over dining tables, kitchen islands, or as a statement piece in entrance halls and living rooms where the sculptural form can be appreciated from multiple angles. The drop is adjustable between 500mm and 1500mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a table surface or lower in rooms with taller ceilings. The chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the suspension cable is concealed within the chrome downrod.

The gloss black finish on the outer glass creates high-contrast reflections under daylight and amplifies the interplay between the matte frosted diffuser and the polished chrome metalwork. Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The pendant itself has no built-in electronics that would prevent dimming — compatibility depends entirely on the bulb and dimmer pairing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 500mm minimum drop plus the 50cm diameter shade means the pendant requires at least 2.7m ceiling height to avoid the bottom of the shade sitting lower than approximately 2.2m from the floor. For dining tables or kitchen islands, ceiling heights of 2.7-3.2m work best, allowing the pendant to hang 700-900mm above the surface.

How is the glass cleaned?

The gloss black exterior can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and then buffed dry to restore the shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough cloths that could scratch the gloss finish.
