Description

The Petaca is a 25cm round LED wall light with an integrated 8W LED casting 480 lumens of warm 3000K light through a matt white polymeric diffuser. The entire fitting sits just 35mm from the wall once mounted, giving it a low profile that suits narrow hallways, low-ceiling bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms where deeper wall lights would protrude awkwardly into the room.

Designed as ambient lighting rather than task light, the Petaca works in hallways, landing areas, bedroom walls opposite the bed, and bathrooms as secondary wash light alongside ceiling fittings. The matt white finish reflects minimal glare under daylight and the circular diffuser distributes the 480 lumens evenly across the wall plane, avoiding harsh spotting. The fitting weighs 1kg and mounts to a standard UK wall back plate with concealed fixings.

The polymeric construction keeps the weight manageable for plasterboard walls and resists discolouration better than painted metal over time. The 8W consumption draws approximately 0.035A on 230V mains, making it suitable for lighting circuits with multiple fittings.
