Description

The Pesvette is a set of three round recessed downlights in black, made to be set into a ceiling so only a slim black ring shows. Each body is plastic in a black finish and measures 9cm across, with 8.5cm of recess depth needed behind the ceiling. Every light has a GU10 lamp holder and is rated at 4.5W, giving 345lm per light in a cool white tone. The IP20 rating settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and the garden.

Three to a set suits the way downlights are often planned, in a row or a small group, so one set covers a short run across a bedroom ceiling, a hallway, a landing or a study. Black trims read clearly against a white ceiling and draw a crisp, graphic line, a look that sits well beside dark picture frames, door handles and switch plates. Cool white light gives a clear, bright feel, a good match for reading, dressing or working at a desk. Each light needs a 6.8cm cut-out, and because the trim is wider than the hole, the black ring covers its edge neatly.

Each downlight has two spring clips at its sides, and because the lamp holder is a standard GU10 cap, a lamp can be changed later without replacing the downlight. There is no switch on the lights themselves; they are switched at the wall, from the light switch in the room. They run on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, carry an F energy class, and the set weighs 0.45KG packed.
