Description
The Perth is a 3-light chandelier built on a brushed gold Y-frame with three dome-shaped woven rattan-style shades, each positioned over an opal glass globe. The symmetrical arrangement extends to a 1014mm diameter, with each arm of the Y-frame holding one shade-and-globe assembly at an equal radial distance from the central stem. Each position takes an E14 bulb rated to 40W maximum (bulbs sold separately).
Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and lounge zones with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Perth provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 457mm minimum to 1482mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining surface or lowered further in double-height spaces. The woven shades cast textured light patterns on ceilings and walls when lit, while the opal globes diffuse downward brightness to reduce glare at eye level.
The brushed gold finish on the metal frame provides a warm mid-tone that pairs with both natural wood interiors and darker charcoal or navy accent walls. The rattan-style weave on each shade is consistent in pattern but shows slight natural variation between the three domes. The opal glass globes measure approximately 150mm diameter and sit beneath the woven shades, visible from below but partially framed by the weave when viewed from the side.
The chandelier weighs approximately 3.2kg when assembled and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose via the central stem. The brushed finish on the gold shows minimal fingerprints during handling and installation. The three-arm Y-configuration balances the visual weight across the 1014mm span without requiring additional ceiling support beyond the central fixing point.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Perth take?
The chandelier takes three E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated to a maximum of 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to balance the warm gold finish and natural weave texture.
What ceiling height is needed?
The adjustable drop ranges from 457mm to 1482mm. For a dining table or kitchen island, the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. The 1014mm diameter also requires adequate clearance from walls and furniture.
Are the woven shades identical?
The three shades follow the same weave pattern but show slight natural variation in the rattan-style material. This is typical of woven textile fixtures and adds to the handcrafted character rather than detracting from it.
How is the chandelier cleaned?
The brushed gold frame can be wiped with a soft dry cloth. The woven shades should be dusted gently with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth. Avoid getting the woven material wet, as moisture can affect the weave structure and cause discolouration.
