Description
The Perth is a single-light pendant built around a 375mm woven dome shade in matte black, suspended from a black ceiling canopy on a rigid stem. An opal glass globe sits below the woven dome, acting as the diffuser for a single E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W). The woven shade is made from rattan-style material wrapped into a hemispherical basket form, providing both structure and light filtration.
Designed for dining tables, breakfast bars and kitchen islands in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Perth's 457-1479mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set at the appropriate height above the surface during installation. The open-weave pattern in the dome filters light upwards and outwards, casting a subtle pattern onto the ceiling and walls when lit, while the opal globe below provides downward ambient light without glare.
The matte black finish on the metalwork and woven shade grounds the pendant visually, pairing well with both warm-toned timber interiors and cooler greys or whites. The rattan-style weave introduces natural material texture without departing from the controlled geometry of the dome shape. The 375mm diameter suits single pendant installation over a 900-1200mm dining table or as one of a pair or trio spaced along a longer island.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Perth take?
The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or kitchen lighting.
How is the drop length adjusted?
The drop is adjustable between 457mm and 1479mm during installation by shortening the cable inside the stem before fixing the canopy to the ceiling. Once installed, the drop is fixed and cannot be adjusted without re-wiring.
Does the woven shade cast patterns when lit?
Yes. The open-weave rattan-style dome filters light upwards and outwards, casting a subtle shadow pattern onto the ceiling and nearby walls. The opal glass globe below provides the main downward light without glare.
Can multiple Perth pendants be used together?
Yes. The 375mm diameter suits installation as a pair or trio spaced along a kitchen island or dining table. Spacing of 600-900mm between pendant centres works well for islands over 1800mm in length.
