Description
This bright yellow money box is shaped like a chunky building block, with six round studs across the top and a clear front window so the savings inside are always in view. It is made from plastic and stands 11cm tall, 12cm wide and 8.5cm deep, a compact size for a shelf or desk. Coins drop in through a slot in the top. Alongside the box comes a sheet of yellow letter stickers holding the full alphabet in capitals and lower case, the numbers 0 to 9 and a handful of punctuation marks, so the window can carry a name or a few words of its own.
Because you choose the words, the box can be set up for whatever the saving is for. Spell out a name, or a goal such as days out, a holiday or a rainy-day fund, and every coin dropped in brings that goal a little closer. The clear window makes progress easy to see, which is half the pleasure of saving. It suits a bedroom shelf, a hallway table where loose change gathers at the end of the day, or a desk at work for a shared kitty. Wrapped with the sticker sheet still untouched, it makes a cheerful little gift for anyone with something to save for.
The box comes plain, so the lettering is yours: peel the stickers from the sheet and press them onto the window on a clean, dry surface so they sit flat. We do not personalise it. The plastic body needs little looking after. Dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it straight away, taking care around the stickers. Plan the lettering before pressing it down, then set the box somewhere it will be seen every day, where the bright yellow is a cheerful nudge to keep saving.
