Description

The Pellaro is a long, slim LED bar pendant light in matt black, hung on fine wires from a neat rectangular ceiling canopy. It measures 110cm long and 8cm wide, with an overall height of 110cm, and the body is aluminium and steel with a white plastic diffuser along the underside. The light source is integrated LED, rated at 3 x 10W and giving 1,150lm per light across its three lights. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Linear pendants like this are made for long surfaces, and our favourite spot for one is over a dining table. A single bar spreads light along the table rather than pooling it in the middle, so every place setting gets its share and the whole room feels calm. Hung over the table, its slim profile keeps sightlines open across the room. It is just as at home above a long desk or a sideboard in any dry room of the house, and the matt black finish sits comfortably against pale walls, wood or stone.

The settings are where the Pellaro earns its place. It is dimmable using the touch dimmer, and the colour temperature adjusts from a warm 2700K to a cooler 5000K, so the same pendant can give soft, golden light for an evening meal and crisp, bright light for paperwork or homework. The LED is replaceable, so the light source can be renewed without changing the whole fitting. Aluminium is light and resists corrosion, and the matt finish has a soft, low sheen. It runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz and has an F energy class rating, and the packed weight is 2.118KG. As a wired-in mains light it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download, so it is worth passing them to your electrician ahead of the day.
