Description

The Payne is a single-light mini pendant with a cylindrical white opal etched glass shade held in polished chrome metalwork. The glass shade measures 74mm diameter by 251mm height and is capped at both ends by spun metal rings that attach to the chrome suspension rod. A 3W 3000K LED G9 bulb inside the etched glass casts soft, diffused light with no visible glare.

Designed for bathrooms, hallways, landings and kitchen task positions, the Payne carries an IP44 rating meaning it resists splashing from any angle and can be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3 away from direct shower spray. The 1203mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be hung 324mm to 1203mm below the ceiling rose depending on the mounting position and desired height above surfaces. The compact 74mm diameter suits narrow spaces and low ceilings where a larger pendant would dominate.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and other metalwork in contemporary bathrooms. The white opal glass softens the reflective metal and provides a gentle ambient glow without creating harsh downward shadows, making the Payne suitable for mounting over bathroom sinks, next to mirrors, or in the centre of small bathrooms where a ceiling-mount fitting would be too utilitarian. The etched glass finish diffuses the LED point source completely, so the light appears to come from the entire glass cylinder rather than a visible bulb.

Yes. The Payne carries an IP44 rating, meaning it resists water splashing from any direction. It is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which includes positions away from direct shower spray such as over sinks, next to mirrors, or in the centre of the bathroom ceiling.

Does the bulb come with the pendant?

Yes. The Payne includes a 3W LED G9 bulb at 3000K warm white colour temperature. The bulb is integrated into the fitting and arrives pre-installed.

What drop height works best?

The 1203mm suspension rod is adjustable on installation down to a 324mm minimum drop. For bathroom sinks or vanity units, a drop of 600-800mm above the worktop typically provides good task light without the fitting sitting in the mirror reflection. For hallway or landing positions, adjust to suit ceiling height and clearance for head height.

Is the glass replaceable if damaged?

The white opal etched glass shade is held in place by the top and bottom chrome rings. If the glass is damaged, contact Feiss or Niori for replacement parts availability. The fitting is not designed for field disassembly by end users, so professional fitting or contact with the manufacturer is recommended for glass replacement.
