Paulson 3 Light Pendant - Polished Chrome with Clear Glass Rods

The Paulson is a 3 light pendant fitting with a cylindrical shade built from rows of individual clear glass rods, held within a polished chrome frame and suspended on an adjustable rod from a matching chrome ceiling rose. Three 3W G9 LED bulbs (included) sit inside the glass cylinder and cast 3000K warm white light through the rods, which diffuse and soften the output into a warm ambient glow.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and bathrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, the Paulson carries an IP44 rating that protects against water splashes, making it suitable for zones 2 and 3 in bathrooms (outside the immediate shower or bath enclosure). The drop is adjustable between 619mm and 1685mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a worktop or dining table, or higher in double-height hallways and stairwells. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The glass rod construction creates a layered visual effect when unlit and adds depth when the LEDs are on, with light refracting through each individual rod before diffusing outward. The polished chrome finish on the frame, suspension rod and ceiling rose provides high-reflectivity metallic accents that pair with contemporary, transitional and Art Deco-inspired interiors. At 244mm width and 205mm depth, the Paulson occupies a compact footprint suitable for smaller dining tables, kitchen islands under 1.5m, and side-by-side installation in pairs over larger islands or bar areas.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The Paulson carries an IP44 rating, which protects against water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the immediate shower or bath enclosure). It should not be installed directly above a shower or bath.

Are the bulbs dimmable?

The included 3W G9 LED bulbs are typically dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Dimmer compatibility varies by manufacturer, so confirm with the dimmer spec sheet before pairing. If the included bulbs are not dimmable, they can be replaced with dimmable G9 LEDs sold separately.

How is the drop adjusted?

The suspension rod is adjustable on installation between 619mm and 1685mm. The rod is cut or extended to the required length during fitting, then locked in place. Once installed, the drop cannot be adjusted without removing the pendant from the ceiling.

What ceiling height does it suit?

With a minimum drop of 619mm, the Paulson works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above when hung over a table or worktop. The maximum 1685mm drop suits double-height spaces, stairwells, or high-ceilinged dining rooms up to 3.2m.
