Description

The Paulson is a 381mm flush ceiling light with a polished chrome frame surrounding a cylindrical diffuser made from individual clear glass rods arranged in parallel rows. Four 3W LED G9 bulbs (included) sit inside the diffuser, casting light through the glass rods to create soft, diffused illumination with visible texture. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, or above showers and baths where direct water jets are not present.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m-2.6m where a pendant would hang too low, the Paulson sits 159mm below the ceiling and mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose. The flush-mount configuration suits hallways, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms where ceiling clearance is limited. The 381mm diameter provides general ambient light for rooms up to 3m x 3m without the need for additional fittings.

The polished chrome metalwork reflects surrounding light and pairs with modern chrome taps, handles and accessories in bathrooms, or with contemporary metallics in living spaces. The glass rod construction gives the fitting visual weight and texture when unlit, and produces a soft glow with visible vertical striations when the LEDs are on. The included 3000K LEDs produce warm white light comparable to halogen, without the heat output or short bulb life.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, which includes areas adjacent to baths and showers but not directly in the shower enclosure itself. It can be fitted above a bath or sink where direct water jets will not hit the fitting.

Are the bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting takes standard G9 LED bulbs, which are widely available. The included bulbs are 3W 3000K LEDs and can be replaced with any G9 LED up to 3W maximum wattage.

What size room does it suit?
