Description

The Paulson is a 133mm mini pendant built around a cylindrical glass tube shade made from individual clear glass rods held within a polished chrome frame. The glass rods run vertically around a central G9 bulb, diffusing light through the ribbed surface while the chrome metalwork provides structural support and a high-gloss finish. A polished chrome canopy at the ceiling and a chrome bail handle at the top of the shade give the pendant an industrial-era lantern silhouette scaled down for contemporary use.

Rated IP44, the Paulson is safe for bathroom zones 1 and 2 where moisture and steam are present, making it suitable above basins, beside mirrors, or in shower rooms with adequate clearance. The 415mm minimum drop allows installation in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, while the maximum 1482mm drop accommodates higher ceilings or stairwell positions. The pendant fits a standard UK ceiling rose and the drop is adjustable on installation by shortening the cable and chain within the canopy.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and mirror frames in bathrooms, or with stainless steel appliances and handles in kitchens. The ribbed glass diffuses the 3W LED G9 bulb to prevent glare while maintaining enough brightness for task lighting. Yes. The pendant includes a 3W LED G9 bulb at 3000K colour temperature, providing warm white light suitable for bathrooms and hallways.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

The drop is adjustable on installation between 415mm minimum and 1482mm maximum by shortening the cable and chain within the ceiling canopy. Once installed, the height is fixed unless the fitting is taken down and re-adjusted.

How is the glass shade cleaned?

The ribbed glass can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, the shade can be removed from the chrome frame by releasing the bail handle, then washed in warm soapy water and dried before refitting.
