Description

This pastel light-up decoration sets a spray of florals beneath a clear, arched cloche, with a little neon flame glowing at the foot of the stems. A large pink and white bloom sits at its heart, framed by green leaves, feathery fronds, tiny white flowers and two gold spiral curls, all rising from a bed of soft green moss. Across the dome, a gold decal shows the silhouette of a young princess with long flowing hair, above the script words 'Let your Heart Sing'. Made from plastic, it stands about 16.9cm tall, 11.4cm wide and 11.5cm deep on a pale, natural-toned round base.

At that size it sits happily on a bedside table, a bookshelf or a dressing table, and as it runs on batteries it needs no plug or trailing flex. By day the florals keep their pastel colour, and in the evening the little flame gives a soft, cosy glow. It suits a child's bedroom for ages three to twelve, as a keepsake and a pretty light to look at rather than a toy to play with. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a friend who loves gentle, sentimental pieces, its printed words a quiet daily reminder to follow what makes them happy. As a light it is meant for dry rooms indoors, so keep it away from bathrooms and damp corners.

The light runs on three AAA batteries, which are not included, so pick up a set alongside it. The florals are arranged inside the cloche, and the gold words and silhouette are a decal on the dome. To keep it looking fresh, dust the dome and base with a soft dry cloth, or wipe the outside gently with a slightly damp cloth, taking care not to rub the decal. Set it at eye level and let the little flame glow as the evening draws in.

Frequently Asked

How big is the light-up cloche decoration?

It stands about 16.9cm tall, 11.4cm wide and 11.5cm deep, a neat size for a bedside table, bookshelf or dressing table.

What batteries does it take, and are they included?

It runs on three AAA batteries. They are not included, so it is worth buying a set along with it, especially if it is a present.

What words are printed on it?

The dome carries the words 'Let your Heart Sing' in gold script, beneath a gold silhouette of a young princess with long flowing hair, applied as a decal.

Is it suitable for a child's bedroom?

Yes, it suits children aged three to twelve as a keepsake for their room. It is a decoration to look at, not a toy to play with, so a shelf or bedside table is the best spot.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is for dry rooms indoors, so keep it away from bathrooms, steamy kitchens and anywhere damp, and enjoy it in a bedroom, living room or hallway instead.

How do I keep it clean?

Dust the dome and base with a soft dry cloth, or wipe the outside gently with a slightly damp cloth, taking care not to rub the gold decal.
