Description

The Parrapos is a flush ceiling light made of four interlocking rings, two larger and two smaller, arranged around a round central canopy. The body is steel in a black finish, and each ring carries a white plastic diffuser, so a slim black edge frames a soft band of light. It measures 61.5cm long, 45cm wide and 8cm high, which keeps it close to the ceiling where a pendant would hang too low. The light source is integrated LED, rated at 41W and 800lm, so there are no separate bulbs to fit. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.

That low profile and broad shape suit living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and bedrooms, and the rings look especially good centred over a dining table. The light is controlled by an app, it is dimmable, and the colour temperature adjusts between 3000K and 6500K, so one fitting gives you a crisp, cool white for cooking or working and a warmer, gentler light for a quiet evening. It also works with a remote control, which is sold separately, for anyone who would rather reach for a handset than a phone. The black and white look sits comfortably in a modern or monochrome scheme.

The fitting has no switch of its own and is switched at the wall, so your existing light switch still turns it on and off alongside the app. The steel body is paired with white plastic diffusers over the LEDs, and the packed weight is 1.767KG. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. Once fitted, the LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to change, and dimming and colour temperature are handled from the app whenever you want a change of mood.
