Paratebueno 1 17 Light Linear Pendant Light - Chrome

This linear pendant light hangs seventeen small birds in flight from a long oval ceiling plate. Each one hangs at its own height, so the flock seems to drift across the room. The body is steel in a bright chrome finish, and each bird shade is steel and plastic with its own integrated LED. It is 148cm long and 26cm wide, with an overall height of 220cm, so it needs a generous ceiling and a long surface beneath it. Each of the 17 lights is rated at 3W and gives 380lm at a warm 3000K. The IP20 rating means it belongs indoors, in a dry room.

A long fitting like this comes into its own over a dining table, a kitchen island or a bar counter, where the line of birds follows the length of the surface. It suits an open plan living space with height to spare just as well, anywhere a simple pendant would feel too plain. Because the LEDs are built in, there are no bulbs to buy or change. The warm white light sits comfortably alongside timber, stone and dark painted walls. When lit, the chrome catches the glow of each bird, so it reads as sculpture by day and as soft, scattered light in the evening.

The light is dimmable, so you can bring it down for a late supper or up for a busy evening. There is no switch on the fitting itself, because it is switched at the wall. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and is wired in, so we recommend a qualified electrician installs it. The installation instructions are available as a download. A soft, dry cloth keeps chrome bright, and abrasive cleaners are best avoided. The packed weight is 22.22KG, so plan on two pairs of hands when you unpack it.
