Description

The Paola is a 2-light wall light with a gold-painted metal frame forming two curved arms, each topped with a black fabric shade. An integrated rocker switch on the backplate controls both lights from the wall fitting itself, removing the need for a separate wall switch. Two E14 bulb holders sit inside the shades (bulbs sold separately), and an amber glass droplet hangs from one of the frame's circular loops as a decorative accent that can be removed if a simpler profile is preferred.

Designed for living room feature walls, bedroom reading positions either side of a headboard, or hallway accent lighting, the Paola sits 210mm from the wall when fitted and spans 320mm wide by 340mm high. The integrated switch makes it practical for bedside use where the nearest wall switch might be several metres away, or for hallway positions where a switch at the light itself is more convenient than walking back to the door. The black shades soften the direct light from the bulbs and cast ambient glow upwards and downwards along the wall.

The gold-painted finish on the metal frame gives a warmer, more textured appearance than polished brass or chrome, pairing comfortably with traditional interiors, warm-toned contemporary schemes, and darker accent walls where the black shades create tonal cohesion. The fabric shades are drum-shaped with a taper, measuring approximately 120mm at the base, and the amber droplet catches light from the bulbs to add a subtle coloured accent when the lights are on. The complete fitting weighs 0.80kg and fixes to a standard backplate compatible with UK wiring.
