Description

The Paola is a single-arm wall light with silver-painted metalwork forming a curved loop that holds a black conical fabric shade and terminates in a teardrop finial. The fitting takes one E14 candle bulb (sold separately) housed inside the black shade, which diffuses the light for ambient rather than task illumination.

Designed for bedside positions, hallways and living room accent lighting, the Paola works as a standalone feature or paired symmetrically either side of a mirror, headboard or fireplace. The 170mm projection from the wall and 380mm overall height suit most residential wall installations without dominating narrow hallways. The fitting mounts to a standard UK back box using the circular backplate concealed behind the oval silver plate visible in the image.

The silver-painted finish on the metalwork provides a cooler alternative to brass or gold tones and pairs comfortably with grey, white and blue interiors. The black fabric shade hides the bulb from direct view and softens the light output, making the Paola suitable for evening use in bedrooms without being too bright. Optional glass droplets (sold separately) can be added to the circular ring on the arm for additional decorative detail, or the light can be left without them for a cleaner profile.

The Paola is dimmable when paired with a compatible E14 dimmable bulb and a trailing-edge dimmer switch. The 0.60kg weight and compact footprint make it straightforward to install on plasterboard or masonry walls without additional support beyond standard wall plugs and screws.
