Description

The Paola is a single-light wall fitting with a gold-painted metal frame forming a continuous loop that supports a black fabric shade at the top and suspends an amber glass droplet at the bottom. The E14 bulb holder sits inside the shade, directing light upwards through the black fabric to create diffused ambient light against the wall and ceiling.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Paola works well in pairs flanking a bed headboard, mirror or fireplace. The 170mm projection from the wall places the shade far enough forward to cast light across adjacent wall surfaces without the fitting overwhelming narrow corridors or tight bedside table positions. The droplet is removable, allowing the fitting to be used with or without the decorative element depending on the room's aesthetic.

The gold painted finish on the metal frame gives a warm metallic tone that pairs with both traditional brass fixtures and contemporary warm-toned interiors.
