Description

The Pantoja is a pendant light with a single round globe of amber grooved glass, hung on a fine black cord from a round black ceiling canopy. The body is steel in a black finish, and the glass is ribbed in a gentle swirl that softens and warms the glow. It measures 150cm in overall height and 24cm in diameter. Inside sits an integrated LED of 5.8W giving 1,100 lumens, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

Hung on its own, it gives a dining table, a kitchen island or a bedside a glowing point of amber light, and by day the swirled glass still catches the eye. The long overall height suits rooms with a generous ceiling, a stairwell or a landing, where the globe sits nearer the people using the space. Because the colour temperature adjusts from a warm 2200K to a cool 6500K, the same light can be soft and golden for an evening meal and whiter and crisper for reading or working. Several hung in a row over a long table make a run of amber globes that feels warm without being heavy.

A remote control comes in the box. The remote dims the light and changes the colour temperature, and it takes a CR2032 battery.
