Each of these four cells is a Panasonic Eneloop AAA, a nickel metal hydride rechargeable that arrives already charged. The pack prints a minimum capacity of 800mAh, and states that the cells are pre-charged with solar energy, so the set can go from the card into a device without a first charge. Eneloop is a low self discharge design: the pack states that 70% of capacity remains after ten years of storage, and that each cell can be recharged up to 2100 times. The outer card is plastic free and carries FSC certification.
