Description

This is a card of six Panasonic CR2025 lithium coin cells, printed on the pack as Lithium Coin 3V. With coin cells the code is the specification: the CR prefix marks a round lithium cell, and the four figures that follow give the size in millimetres, twenty across and two and a half thick. The thickness is the figure worth checking, because a CR2032 shares the same twenty millimetre diameter and simply stands taller, which is why the two are so often bought in error.

The icons printed across the top of the card show the three jobs these cells most often do: a car key fob, a camera and a watch. If you are not certain what your device takes, lift the old cell out and read its face, because coin cells carry their code stamped on the positive side and you will find CR2025 written there in full. Six on one card suits anyone who has more than one device on the same size, or who would rather have spares in the drawer than make a second trip for a single cell.

Each cell sits in its own sealed bubble on a backing the pack describes as child safety packaging, so you release one at a time and the remaining five stay carded and separate.
