Description

The Ovila is a 13-light cluster pendant suspending thirteen ribbed glass orbs in two colourways — smoked black and brandy — from a polished chrome circular canopy. Each orb houses an E27 fitting supplied with an 8W LED bulb, and hangs on an individually height-adjustable cable, allowing the entire cluster to be configured as a tight spiral, a loose cascade, or anywhere in between depending on the drop height and visual effect required.

Designed for double-height spaces, the Ovila suits entrance halls, over-stair voids, dining rooms with 3m+ ceilings, and boutique hospitality interiors where a strong vertical accent is needed. The minimum installed height of 150cm allows the cluster to sit in rooms with standard ceiling heights if configured tightly, while the maximum 350cm drop accommodates tall voids and atriums. The 96cm canopy diameter spreads the cluster across a wide ceiling footprint, distributing the visual and luminous weight of the thirteen orbs.

The ribbed glass surface on each orb catches and fractures light differently depending on the viewing angle, while the dual-tone palette — cool smoked grey against warm brandy amber — creates tonal contrast that shifts under different lighting conditions. The chrome canopy and cable hardware provide a neutral metallic frame that recedes visually, letting the glass orbs remain the dominant feature. At 28kg total weight, the fixture requires a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point capable of supporting the combined load of the glass, metalwork and cables.

The fixture is supplied with all bulbs installed, rated at Class 1 electrical safety with IP20 ingress protection, making it suitable for dry indoor environments only. The E27 LED bulbs can be replaced with alternative E27 lamps up to 20W each if a different colour temperature or output is preferred, and the fitting is compatible with standard LED wall dimmers for adjustable light levels.

The minimum installed height is 150cm from ceiling to lowest orb, which works in standard-height rooms if the cluster is configured tightly. For a full cascading effect, ceiling heights of 3m or more are recommended. The maximum drop of 350cm suits double-height entrance halls and atriums.

Are the cables adjustable after installation?

Yes. Each of the thirteen orbs hangs on an individually height-adjustable cable, allowing you to reconfigure the cluster shape and drop lengths after installation without rewiring.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. The fixture is supplied with thirteen E27 LED 8W bulbs pre-installed. These can be replaced with alternative E27 lamps up to 20W each if a different colour temperature or output is preferred.

What weight capacity is required for the ceiling fixing?
