Description
The Knightsbridge OWALL1W is a compact outdoor wall light built around a 60mm diameter powder-coated white cylinder with a single downward-facing GU10 fitting. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for installation under eaves, on porch walls, and in covered outdoor areas where direct rain exposure is minimal.
Designed for accent lighting on exterior walls, the 120mm height and 96mm projection from the wall allow the fitting to be placed alongside doorways, garage doors, and along garden walls without dominating the facade. The GU10 base accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 20W (sold separately), with dimmer compatibility dependent on the bulb chosen. The clear diffuser at the base of the cylinder directs light downward to illuminate doorsteps, pathways, and wall-mounted house numbers.
The 201 stainless steel construction is powder-coated in white to resist corrosion in coastal and urban environments. The Class I earthing provides additional electrical safety during installation. The compact 60mm cylinder sits flush against flat walls and can be mounted in pairs to frame a doorway or in a linear sequence along a garden wall or patio perimeter. The fitting is installed on a standard UK outdoor wiring loop with a fixed-position bracket—there is no adjustment once mounted.

Frequently Asked
What IP rating does it carry and where can it be installed?
The fitting carries an IP54 rating, protecting against dust and water splashes from any direction. It is suitable for installation under eaves, on covered porches, and on walls sheltered from direct rainfall. It is not rated for fully exposed locations subject to driving rain or submersion.
What bulb does it take?
The fitting takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for pathway and doorstep lighting.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb you install. If you use a dimmable GU10 LED and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit, the fitting can be dimmed. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will operate at full brightness only.
Can it be installed as an up-lighter?
The fitting is designed as a downward-facing wall light with a fixed mounting bracket. The clear diffuser at the base directs light downward. If inverted, water could pool inside the fitting and compromise the IP54 rating, so upward installation is not recommended.
