Description

The Knightsbridge RWL5A is a 200mm outdoor LED guide light built from die-cast aluminium with an anthracite powder-coated finish and an IP54 rating for wet-location installation. The integrated 5W LED casts 230 lumens of 3500K light downwards through a clear diffuser, creating a directed beam for pathway edges, entrance steps and garden patio perimeters where low-level orientation lighting is needed.

Designed for surface mounting on exterior walls, gate pillars, garden walls and fascia boards, the guide light sits 70mm tall by 200mm wide with a 33mm projection from the wall surface. The anthracite finish blends into dark-painted walls and grey-rendered exteriors while remaining visible as a deliberate architectural detail during daylight. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, making the fitting suitable for UK climate exposure on covered porches, under eaves, and on open walls.

The Class II double-insulated construction eliminates the need for an earth connection, simplifying installation on non-conductive surfaces such as rendered block walls and timber cladding. The 3500K colour temperature sits between warm white and neutral white, providing enough warmth for residential settings while retaining clarity for safe navigation at night. The LED is rated at 60,000 hours to L70B50, which translates to approximately 20 years of operation at 8 hours per night before output drops to 70% of initial lumens.

Yes. The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashing from any direction, making it suitable for installation on open exterior walls in UK weather. The die-cast aluminium construction and powder-coated finish resist corrosion in wet conditions.

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at fixed output when powered. It is designed for always-on pathway and security lighting rather than adjustable mood lighting.

Surface mounting using screws through the rear plate into masonry plugs, timber battens or gate pillars. The Class II double-insulated construction does not require an earth connection, only live and neutral mains wiring.
