Description

The Knightsbridge RWL2A is a surface-mounted LED guide light in anthracite die-cast aluminium, designed for low-level pathway and entrance lighting. The integrated 2W LED produces 105 lumens at 3500K through a clear diffuser panel set into the front face, casting a downward wash of neutral white light across walls, steps and paving.

Rated IP54 for outdoor use, the fitting resists dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for external walls, garden pathways, patio edges and driveway boundaries. The die-cast aluminium construction withstands UK weather year-round, and the anthracite powder coat finish provides corrosion resistance in coastal and urban environments. The 32mm projection from the wall keeps the profile low against brickwork and rendered surfaces.

The rectangular aperture measures 140mm high by 100mm wide, and the clear diffuser allows the 29.2° beam angle to project a defined pool of light downward rather than spreading ambient glow. This makes the RWL2A effective as a wayfinding marker along pathways or as step lighting where a clear indication of the ground level is needed. The fitting is Class II double-insulated, requiring no earth connection during installation.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 60,000 hours at L70B50, equivalent to approximately 20 years of use at 8 hours per night. The 3500K colour temperature sits between warm and cool white, providing enough clarity for safe navigation without the cooler tones of 4000K security lighting.
