Description

The Otto is a 3 light semi-flush ceiling light with three hand-formed frosted glass panels arranged on a polished chrome circular base. Each of the three curved glass elements houses a G4 halogen bulb, with the frosted finish diffusing light evenly across the glass surface. The fitting sits approximately 120mm below the ceiling on a low-profile chrome canopy, making it suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a pendant drop would intrude.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and kitchen-diners requiring general ambient light without a dominant ceiling feature, the Otto provides 60W combined output across three G4 halogen bulbs (included). The fitting can also be wall-mounted as a horizontal wall light where a ceiling fitting is not possible, though the asymmetric glass arrangement is designed to be viewed from below. Trailing-edge dimming is supported, allowing the light output to be adjusted from bright task lighting to soft background glow.

The polished chrome base and fixings give a high-shine metallic accent that pairs with contemporary chrome taps, door handles and appliance finishes. The frosted white glass panels soften the chrome's reflections and prevent glare from the exposed G4 capsule bulbs when the light is on. The 240mm diameter footprint covers most standard UK ceiling rose positions, and the total weight of 0.78kg fits within typical plasterboard load limits without additional ceiling reinforcement.

Yes. The Otto is compatible with trailing-edge dimmers. A trailing-edge dimmer is required for smooth dimming without flicker or buzzing, as G4 halogen bulbs perform poorly on standard leading-edge dimmers.
