Description
The Osito Peluche is a 45cm hand-painted polyresin bear figurine from Schuller, finished in a multicolour pop art palette across its entire surface. Each section of the bear — torso, limbs, head and ears — carries a different colour block (red, green, blue, yellow, orange, pink, black) with contrasting polka dots, stars and geometric patterns painted by hand. The high-gloss finish on the polyresin gives the colours a lacquered, reflective quality under room lighting.
Designed as a decorative sculpture rather than a functional object, the bear sits in a relaxed pose with legs extended forward, measuring 32cm wide by 25cm deep at the base. The 4kg weight gives it a solid presence on shelving, console tables, sideboards and floor-level display plinths in living rooms, children's playrooms, creative studios and retail interiors. The oversized head and rounded limbs reference classic teddy bear proportions, while the pop art treatment shifts the piece into contemporary decorative territory.
Each figurine is hand-painted, so exact colour placement, dot size and brushstroke texture vary between individual pieces. The polyresin construction allows for fine detail in the facial features (painted eyes, nose, mouth) and the crisp edges between colour sections. The multicolour palette pairs with interiors that already layer bright accent colours, or acts as the primary colour anchor in otherwise neutral schemes.

Frequently Asked
Is this suitable for outdoor use?
No. The polyresin is rated for indoor use only. Prolonged exposure to UV light, rain and temperature variation will cause the hand-painted finish to fade and the material to degrade.
Does the figurine vary between pieces?
Yes. Each Osito Peluche is hand-painted, so the exact placement of colour blocks, dot patterns and brushstroke texture differ between individual figurines. This is a feature of the hand-finishing process, not a defect.
How is it cleaned?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with plain water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the surface and do not use household sprays, polishes or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the painted finish.
What is polyresin?
Polyresin is a composite material combining resin with stone powder or other fillers, giving it the weight and feel of ceramic or stone while allowing fine moulded detail. It is lighter and less fragile than ceramic, but heavier and more durable than hollow plastic.
